1. DOWNLOAD THE LAUNCHER

The launcher installs the game files, puts a Level Up Online icon on your desktop, and sets everything up for you.

2. OPEN IT AND PRESS PLAY

Open the Level Up Online icon and press Play. You can leave the launcher window open while you play and close it when you are done.

3. MAKE YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE GAME

There is no sign-up on this website. When the game asks you to log in, just type the account name and password you want. Your account is created automatically the first time you log in.

Write them down. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.

Windows blocked it? Turn off Smart App Control

WHY IT BLOCKS

Windows 11 has a feature called Smart App Control. It only lets well-known, digitally signed programs run. We are a small shop and our launcher is not signed by a big publisher, so Smart App Control may refuse to open it.

To install Level Up Online on a PC where Smart App Control is On, you have to turn it Off first. Windows 10 does not have this feature, and many PCs have it already set to Off or Evaluation.

HOW TO TURN IT OFF

  1. Press the Windows key, type Windows Security and open it.
  2. Choose App & browser control.
  3. Click Smart App Control settings.
  4. Select Off, then run the launcher again.

Prefer not to? Bring your PC to the shop and we will help you set it up in person.

Good to know: turning Smart App Control off lowers one of Windows' built-in protections. Only install software you trust. On older versions of Windows 11, once it is off it cannot be switched back on without resetting Windows; newer Windows 11 updates let you turn it back on. If you see a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen instead, that is SmartScreen: click More info, then Run anyway.

Is it really free?

Yes. Level Up Online is free to play.

How do I make an account?

Start the game and, at the login screen, type the account name and password you want. The account is created the first time you log in.

It says my password is wrong

That account name may already belong to someone else, or the password was typed differently than before. Try a different account name, or check your typing.

I forgot my password

Visit or contact the shop at (717) 681-6598 and we will help you get back in.

I can't connect

The shop's server may be restarting. Wait a few minutes and try again, or call or text us.

Do I need to own Ultima Online?

No. The launcher downloads everything it needs and sets it up for you.

Does it work on Mac or Linux?

The launcher is for Windows.
